LEARND Educational platform on Internet Computer: Concept
Some time ago, last May, the idea of creating a whole new vision of education on the internet was born. A few months have passed and today, LEARND exists and continues to develop.

We would like to describe few lines of the project to you here.

REWARD.
The first and fundamental idea is to be able to remunerate the learners.There are a multitude of possibilities as this picture shows you.
Donations, staking in the LEARND neuron which will allow interest to be used and redistributed.
Also, we will create a LEARND token for governance using the SNS system. It will be a special part that we will explain later in 2022, but if you don’t know what’s the SNS and how it works, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeooDUCse70
Basicaly, the LEARND token will be used to incentives early adopter, long-term investments of the participant, or tips teachers.
Learners / Teachers
One of the pillars of LEARND will be and always will be the creation of content by the community.
Anyone can create their content on the subject that interests them. The system will be as easy as writing a blog on Medium.
He will submit his LEARND course, module, learning path etc. then it will be voted on by the community.
If validated, it will be available on the platform. If it is invalidated, it will restart in editing.
To become professor emeritus of LEARND, the budding professor will then be able to develop his own community of followers and will then have a growing e-reputation. The more people who take his courses, the more achievement badges he will be able to obtain that will allow him to become a full professor of LEARND.
We truly believe that a person who gets involved deserves to be rewarded. It will be in ICP.
Certificate
Here is the form that a certificate will take (here the example is on the Motoko language).
He will have a set number of either ICP or NFTs up for grabs (provided by one of the many partnerships). In all cases, a LEARND certificate will be issued and provided to anyone who successfully completes the certificate. This LEARND certificate will be proof of work. The partner ICPs and NFTs will act as remuneration.

Finally, you are probably saying to yourself, but how to make this platform viable over time.

Here is a one of the possible answers.
Thinking back to the internet advertising model, I came up with the idea of changing the purpose of this advertising. What if, we force companies to actually contribute to society, rather than sell us their products. The effect would be double, if not triple.
A company pays thousands of dollars to have ad inserts that pollute our lives, and our screens. And their impact is often very small, so much so that a massive system of absorption of personal data has been developed (Facebook), to target more, at the risk of knowing too much (hum hum!).
What if LEARND offered to these same companies, at a lower cost, to inject money into certificates, learning paths, modules, courses, to highlight not only their product, but also their field of activity and everything that surrounds it. All this without collecting any data from users…
Example :
A company which manufactures clothing is contacted by LEARND which asks it to finance 1 learning path which would be based on the textile, from its raw material, to its sale.
By offering 3 different modules:
1. The raw material, where does it come from (Biology & Chemistry)?
2. How are the products made (Technology)?
3. Global sales, what effects on domestic trade (Politics & Economy)?
The company will then have the choice of financing one of these modules (or all 3!)
In exchange, learners would have the opportunity to learn more about the brand, the field of activity and to earn a portion of the amounts paid by the company.
Even better, another part of the sum would be donated to the teachers who have worked on these modules.
Finally, the company will also be able to offer in exchange for a partnership with LEARND one of its products and make them win, or have them bought thanks to the money collected by the learners.
Imagine the advertising budget today. Imagine the image of a company that invests in education, while continuing to advertise, without spoiling our lives, but by contributing to the evolution of its brand and its field of activity as well as to the transmission of knowledge.
Imagine the evolution of the Internet Computer if companies came in to advertise on it …
It’s a win-win right across the board.
LEARND will be the first blockchain education platform to offer this kind of partnership.
